New concert and clinic dates (and the poster for the Status Quo concert) continue to stream in for Carl Palmer and his hard working band.  To see a schedule of confirmed tour and clinic dates scroll further down the page or click HERE.  More dates will be added regularly so check back frequently for updates.

So what's with the Smurf you may ask?  Well, Carl passed on to us the details of a very unique concert he played in Belgium recently - one of those "only in the life of a rock 'n roll drummer" moments.  If that has peaked your curiosity just click HERE to see the cartoon and read all about it.

Carl's eagerly awaited live release "Working Live: Volume 1" has been released in Europe (March 17th on Sanctuary Records) and Japan (March 21st).  The disc features musical highlights from the now completed Palmer tour.  North American fans shouldn't have to wait too long and can look for the album to be released, together with his recent two disc anthology, "Do Ya Wanna Play, Carl!", on Rhino USA sometime later in 2003.  As soon we have some soundclips for you they will be posted here.  To order the CD Click HERE.

A new T-shirt was recently added to Carl's online store.  The new item features the "CP" logo from Carl's anthology.  Click HERE.

As reported earlier, Carl has announced the formation of his new company DRUM CLINICS UK.  The company, run by Carl and Frank Askew, specializes in putting on drum circles, clinics and master classes and in putting together programs for private schools and children with special needs.  Click HERE to read more.

As first reported in July, at the NAMM show in Los Angeles, and later in Frankfurt, Carl unveiled his new drum kit for all to see.  Custom made by Paiste the new kit is made entirely from cymbal material.  To check it out just click HERE.

A chance find during a recent office cleaning has provided us with this blast from the past.  Steve Cosio was kind enough to forward us this great picture snapped by his friend John Olson.  Special thanks to both!
