Carl Palmer Testimonial
Carl and Frank,
A great and very successful day here at St Bede's!
We have had so many positive comments from students and staff who took part
in each of the 2 Drum Circles. The morning one in particular, for blind and
visually-impaired children, was incredibly enjoyable for everyone who took
part. The TV and press reporters commented on how much the children were
enjoying what they were doing. In fact, some of the morning helpers were so
taken by Carl and his enthusiasm that they came back for the afternoon
Circle for deaf and hearing-impaired.
In total, 14 schools took part and some have said they are following up
Carl's work with further musical activities during the summer term.
You are always welcome at St Bede's and in Bradford!
Best wishes,

Frank,
Further to our conversation last week, I attach one of the photographs
taken at your workshop (Jonathan Knox).
Unfortunately, this is the only one I have without other schools’
pupils on it and with parental permission given.
If I get more permissions, I’ll forward on the photos.
Here’s a couple of quotes too:
Philip Cooke said It has been an interesting experience to
see the famous drummer of the seventies, Carl Palmer,
to show us his expertise in drumming.
Jonathan Knox (11HTB) added I thought the class was very good . . .
when Carl Palmer played the drums, everyone went along with him.
I would like to go and do it another time
. . . Thank you for letting me go. Jonathan Knox
