Birmingham, England
Walk of Stars

On April 11, 2019, the City of Birmingham (England) awarded Carl Palmer (ELP, Asia) and John Lodge (Moody Blues) stars on the city's Walk of Stars for their contribution to the City's culture heritage.

2011 National Drum Fair UK - Carl Palmer was made Honorary President of the National Drum Fair UK on the 24th of September 2011. The National Drum Fair UK is England's biggest drum fair for vintage drums.

2009 Solent University, Southampton. The Faculty of Media, Arts and Society awarded Carl Palmer the honor of Visiting Fellow on 26 November 2009. The award was given to Carl by Prof. Rod Pilling, Dean of Faculty – Media, Arts and Society

2009 Rolling Stone logo declares Carl Palmer one of the 10 Greatest Drummers of all time. – January 2009

2001

Carl Palmer receives Classic Rock Society Patron Award. Classic Rock Society (UK). Carl Palmer named Classic Rock Society Patron along with Asia band mate, John Wetton; Yes' Rick Wakeman; Dave Greenslade; Zombies' Rid Argent; and Genesis' Steve Hackett.

Carl Palmer was honored in the UK at the annual Classic Rock Awards. Palmer received the award for this work as a drummer in Emerson, Lake & Palmer; ASIA: and The Carl Palmer Band.
